  • A: Brute-force attack can help you try all possible combinations if you remember nothing about the password.
  • Q: 2. What can “Brute-force with mask attack” do?
  • A: If you remember some information like symbols, characters or length of the lost password, brute force with mask attack is better for you to save the recovery time by restricting the search area.
  • Q: 3. What’s “Character Set”?
  • A: It is available for “Brute-force with mask attack” only. It can instruct the program what characters have been used in the password and restrict the search area. “Custom Character Set” is provided for you to define your own character set which has been used in the password possibly.
  • Q: 4. What’s “Prefix”?
  • A: Prefix is the first character of the password. If you still remember it, select the checkbox, and enter it.
  • Q: 5. What’s “Suffix”?
  • A: Suffix is the last character of the password. If you still remember it, select the checkbox and enter it.
